A packet of native British bluebell seeds.

The British bluebell (Hyacintoides non-scripta) is a smaller more delicate plant than its Spanish relative, more frequently available in garden centres. The British bluebell is under threat from hybridisation with the larger varities. We associate them with woodlands but along the coastal paths of Pembrokeshire and island of Skomer they grow in the open. Sow under glass and protect from extremes of weather for 15 months before planting out.

Handpacked by Thomas Etty Esq for year ending 2014. Registered seed packer - FERA Ref No 2807.
